Where The Action Is celebrates the Grand Opening of a brand new MPS skatepark on the land of Inyan Woslata (Standing Rock) in the Akichita Hanksa District (Fort Yates, N.D.) on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Over 600 Indigenous people from Standing Rock, Pine Ridge, and Browning communities attended the opening, some traveling over 700 miles.
Founded by Pearl Jam’s, Jeff Ament, Montana Pool Service is a non-profit organization that builds world-class skateparks in Indigenous and rural communities across Montana and the Dakotas.
