The Vevo x Holly Humberstone alliance has been strong for a while now. In June of 2020, we captured the Brit singer-songwriter's DSCVR at Home performances of “Falling Asleep At The Wheel” and “Overkill." Within months, luminaries such as Elton John and Lewis Capaldi also threw their support behind her romantic ruminations. So we invited her into our DSCVR Artists to Watch 2021 ranks, and she quickly made that decision look wise, with her heartbreaking “The Walls Are Way Too Thin” flooding college radio and indie playlists. Momentum shifted into yet a higher gear when Olivia Rodrigo announced Holly as her ‘SOUR’ tour opener. As a songwriter, the Grantham native continues dazzle her growing audience. Our latest collab is a prime example. Armed with a drum machine to accompany her signature electric six string, she flew solo without losing any of her indie rock oomph. The synth pulse and strums of her latest track “Sleep Tight” hark to late-90s alt radio hits. For the ethereal “London Is Lonely,” she slid behind a keyboard and spilled out her soul. It’s rare to follow an artist on each upward step. We're happy to be with Team HH all the way.
