February 10th, 2021 | "A lot of these songs focus on our very human desires to be understood, to feel validated and loved. I’m not a religious person by any means, but a few of these songs center around questions about our existence, this need to understand our lives in relation to some sort of higher power."
Acid Tongue was started by singer/songwriter Guy Keltner & drummer/visual artist Ian Cunningham. It started as something that allowed the artists to move away from Seattle's current identity as a tech bubble, and back to the more rock & roll origins in Seattle's local scene. Since their debut EP, I Died Dreaming (2015), they have garnered a massive following both locally and internationally (Brits love them) and have moved on to not only release music, but even discover their own record label, "Freakout Records." Since the beginning, Acid Tongue has performed with iconic bands like "King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard," "De La Soul," "Ariel Pink," and even "The Sonics."
