Ahead of the greatly anticipated third album ‘Closer’ from Internationally renowned producer and DJ Claptone, he now shares a package of new remixes from album single ‘Wake Up’. The House and Garage-layered inspired track features the husky and soulful vocals of Irish Platinum selling singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow and is now remixed by respected artists Riva Starr and Tom & Collins. Riva Starr is the Italian born east London residing producer and DJ. He is also the Snatch label boss and a unique character of our scene. Constantly reinventing his sound and not constrained by any genre limitations. He has released on some of the hottest underground labels around, from Dirtybird, Hot Creations, Truesoul and Crosstown Rebels. His supporters include David Squillace, Adam Beyer, Pete Tong and Annie Mac. Here he delivers a beautifully produced and authentic retro House and Garage style remix. Think late 80s House and Garage grooves, sharp kicks and snares fused with bright strings stabs and lots of energy throughout. Tom & Collins are a DJ duo who are fast emerging, breaking out of Mexico City which is their home town and becoming respected international names. Having been nominated twice for MTV Millennial Awards, they have forged a reputation of delivering a pop-friendly mix of deep house and deep tech, garnering them millions of Spotify plays and a strong worldwide fanbase in the process. Here they bring their signature progressive House and Tech vibe to this remix, full of warm bass, stripped down breaks, metallic builds and dramatic drops, 100% ready for the dancefloor. With further remixes to be announced in this package, Claptone’s ‘Wake Up’ brings some of the scenes strongest artists together to present very diverse sounds for every club setting.
