Rufus first reached out to me with a demo called I Love You Bye, and the second I heard it, I knew there was something special in his voice — raw, emotional, and just real. That demo became our first release together, and now having him in Oslo for this episode, working on our second track, feels like things have come full circle. Rufus has such a powerful story — working in construction while chasing his dream, building his career independently, and still bringing this incredible voice and presence into every session. I wanted to give him the space to explore that even more, and this conversation shows just how far he’s come. I’m really proud of the track we made and even prouder of the artist he’s becoming.
