When Sam and Loek sent me a demo of a song they started, I instantly felt a deep emotional connection. The timing was crazy, because I’m getting married later this year, and something in the lyrics just hit me. I told them straight away, “Let’s not finish this over email. Come to Oslo.” Having them both here, working together in person, was everything I hoped it would be. We created something honest, vulnerable, and real.
