In this episode, I had the privilege of spending time with Hanne Mjøen — an incredibly talented artist and songwriter whose energy and honesty truly moved me. From the moment I picked her up in Oslo, our conversation flowed effortlessly, touching on everything from childhood memories and skiing to the deeper struggles of navigating the music industry. Hearing her speak about pausing her career to care for her father hit me hard, and I knew we had to channel that emotion into a song. I felt an immediate connection with Hanne — both as an artist and as a person — and I’m so excited for the track we created together. It’s a reminder of why I started making music in the first place: to connect through real, human stories.
