Dreamers // Rewind

It may have been burning up in Dallas at 109 degrees outside but Dreamers gave us a set with more energy and electricity than we expected. The New York based pop-rock trio band were one of three support acts opening the night for 311 and Dirty Heads. Dreamers followed Bikini Trill and kept the crowd going at Toyota Music Factory on August 8th. The band came out ready to go, engaging with the crowd. Dreamers started their set with “SCREWS” off of their EP LAUNCH. The scorching heat didn’t stop the fans in the pit from dancing and jumping around with the band as they moved along to each and every song. They immediately followed with “Vampire in the Sun” off of their most recent album, LAUNCH FLY LAND cleverly named after two recent EP’s LAUNCH and FLY.

As their music went on more fans began to crowd into their seats at the venue and the pit grew larger with fans eager to move along to the music they were hearing.

Sweat dripping down their faces didn’t stop the band from giving their all on the stage song after song. A fan favorite of the evening definitely seemed to be “Take Me Home” also off of LAUNCH FLY LAND.

Overall Dreamers had the audience wanting more than just a 6-song set. We’re excited to see what the future has in-store for this band.
